SYHI Hires New Rec/Goaltending Director

SYLVANIA, Ohio – Sylvania Tam-O-Shanter has hired Trevor Sattelmeier as a rink manager. Trevor will also serve as rec hockey/goaltending director for Sylvania Youth Hockey.

Trevor, a native of Grosse Point, MI, played junior hockey in Chatham, ONT (GOJHL) and college hockey at Wayne State (ACHA). He is entering his first year as an assistant coach for Concordia University (WHAC) and was goaltending coach for Eastern Michigan University (ACHA) from 2017-19. He has been involved with USA Hockey’s Coaching Education Program since 2012.

“I am very excited to be joining Tam-O-Shanter and Sylvania Youth Hockey. In my brief time with the hockey office, it is easy to see what great people are involved and what a quality program we have. I am looking forward to working with a great facility and growing program for many years” said Sattelmeier.

Trevor and his wife, Megan, were married this past May.
