The Sylvania North Stars are hitting the ice this weekend for training camp, and we’re excited to welcome a special guest coach — current Toledo Walleye star Brandon Hawkins!
Our players will have the opportunity to learn from one of the top players in the ECHL, while getting back on the ice, sharpening their skills, and preparing for the season ahead.

Learn 2 Play Hockey is a well organized step-by-step program that enables children ages 4-14 years to have fun while learning the basics of the great game of hockey from USA Hockey trained instructors.
Join one of Northwest Ohio's premier youth hockey leagues, where every player has a place to play, learn, and grow. The BBHL season runs early October through mid-March and provides a fun, competitive environment for players of all skill levels.
All players are required to attend a rate skate, which are now scheduled (below) for September. The rate skate is NOT a tryout for the BBHL. All registered players will be placed on a team.
