2024-25 Participation Agreement

Each tryout date is $25/skate.  Online pre-registration required. All tryouts held at Sylvania Tam-O-Shanter. SYHI strongly recommends attending all tryout dates assigned to team. All prior seasons player fees must be paid in full in order to tryout. All requests to “play up” must be emailed to mmanko@sylvaniatamoshanter.com prior to tryouts.

Pre-post hockey is for high school players that are looking to supplement before & after the high school season. Pre-post North Stars teams will play in a few tournaments from late August thru late October. There is 1-2 practices per week. Pre-post states are typically the weekend before HS tryouts. The goal of both teams is to qualify for USA Hockey Tier 2 Nationals in April.

Entering its third season in 2022-23, the Jr Walleye is for selected 2014-15 birth years. Players will practice together weekly, and compete against each other in engaging, high-tempo cross-ice games. Players will also be divided into 2-3 North Stars teams and compete in the 8U Little Caesars Amateur Hockey League.  The Jr Walleye will be overseen by SYHI Hockey Director, Mike Mankowski. SYHI's Skills Staff will assist during on-ice practice sessions. .
