18U Pre-Post North Stars

Tryouts for the 18U Sylvania North Stars team will be held on June 29th & July 7th at Sylvania Tam-O-Shanter. Online pre-registration required. The season will run late August thru late October when the HS season begins. The team will be USA Hockey national-bound eligible. The "pre" usually consists of four tournaments (Cleveland, Detroit, and Sylvania) and 1-2 practices per week.   

The team will be coached by Austin Kelly. Austin is a Sylvania pre-post alumnus. He graduated from SJJ before playing three seasons of Junior A hockey for the Philadelphia Little Flyers (EHL). Austin played four seasons for the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point (2016-20) where he was part of the NCAA National Championship team in 2019. He graduated with a degree in Business Finance & Marleting. Assisting him will be Dominic Horvath. Dominic is also an alumnus of the Sylvania pre-post program. He played junior hockey in Brantford, ONT (GOJHL), NCAA hockey at SUNY-Potsdam, and two seasons of minor professional.
